Meet Our Founder
Christina Henry is a force to be reckoned with. Her love of community and partnership is unparalleled, but the more than rocky road she has traveled makes you wonder how she could have possibly held it all together. Her roots are deeply intertwined in Covington, GA ; but her passion for seeing anyone and everyone she encounters thrive seems to be intrinsic to her nature. Her story does not unfold like most successful women. She has battled broken systems of care in the name of her daughter and has been forced to make decisions no mother should ever have to face. Not only that, she strives to be an advocate for those who are challenged by similar adversity. Through tireless research efforts of hopes in finding alternate methods of healing and treatment, she works to build programs that are "wholistically" based. To help combat the stigma associated with speaking out about mental health, she orchestrated an event on Covington's Downtown Square, centralizing resources for families. She wholeheartedly believes in repairing broken families and linking individuals dealing with developmental and neurodiverse conditions with what they need to succeed. After obtaining her Parent Peer Support Specialist Certification through the Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities, she understood more of her direction in the work God has called her to do. She has also been a recipient of the Covington News “40 Under 40” award, calling out those that go above and beyond in the pursuit of their passions. Her spare time is spent in the practice of power yoga and investing in her faith.
